VFW Membership Requirements:

United States Citizen

Honorable service in the Armed Forces of the United States

Received a campaign medal for overseas service; have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay; has served on hostile soil, in hostile waters, or the airspace above in the performance of service qualifying such person for membership.
